Founder's Profile

SHORT BIOGRAPHY Teuku Syafrizal born on March 8, 1964 in Banda Aceh, the third child or the youngest of three brothers, his father named Teuku Rayeuk which is an administrative employee at SMA Sabang, he previously was an orator of a major political parties at the time PNI, but with the fall of Sukarno then he dragged down by the political maelstrom that time, the mother of T.Syafrizal is Cut Nyak Kamariah, she is a mother who is filled with love and creativity and he was raising her children with a loving so that loving feeling carried in the youngest T.Syafrizal personality that he has always been his friend's favorite and always asked to be the leader in the group. Teuku Syafrizal at home and its immediate surroundings have a nickname of King Ubit, but in daily life he is fondly known as Kak Ubit is the nickname given surrogate children, they said Kak Ubit similar Kak Seto. Kak Ubit grew up in the city of Sabang, and enroll in primary school 7 Sabang, The End of 1977, Junior High School I Sabang, The End of 1981, SMA Negeri I Sabang, The End of 1984, and lectures at the Faculty of Agriculture Department of farms UNSYIAH, Darussalam - Banda Aceh End of 1991 then he followed the Library Orientation Training, Certificate, National Library - Jakarta 1992 Mover and Training Bachelor of Rural Development (SP3), Certificate, the Department of Education - Jakarta 1994 Ubit Kak life mission is to create new resources that enrich and empower the lives of children and Youth Aceh. In 1994 for a more professional and formal in realizing the mission of his life he founded the Yayasan Pembinaan Generasi Muda Kegiatan (YPKGM) This is a non-profit organization that focuses on non - formal education to encourage children in Aceh to learn independently through the library, develop talent and interest through the art of dance and theater workshop, training and other life skills. Before the tsunami in 2004, this foundation is housed in a building controller legacy of the Netherlands about 1 kilometer from the sea. The earthquake and tsunami of December 26, 2004 destroying the building. Of the 25 volunteers in the foundation, largely missing and died in the tsunami, as well as the fate of surrogate children, amounting to 350 more, mostly disappeared or died in the tsunami. Post-tsunami, on December 28, 2004 (day 3 post-tsunami) Kak Ubit met with Prof. Muhammadiyah chairman Din Shamsuddin Campus Center at the University of Muhammadiyah in Aceh (Kak Ubit worked there as a lecturer and Head of Section of Computer Application and Diploma at the Faculty of Law) and he invited only to be involved in coordinating volunteers Muhammadiyah which will help evacuate the bodies of tsunami victims After working as a volunteer coordinator for the evacuation team Muhammadiyah corpse until October 2005, then Kak Ubit accepts the Foundation is one of the members who survived the tsunami to reactivate the Foundation had built. After successfully reconstituted the foundation volunteers who survived and who recently joined, Kak Ubit first obtain the cooperation program with Save the Children, the mobile library program that uses his personal ESSPAS minibus, and then institute Kak Ubit much cooperation with other international NGOs. Finally in 2009 in cooperation with the CBM International Health Education Program, epilepsy and Interests Read in 3 districts (Aceh Barat, Aceh Jaya and Aceh Barat Daya) In 2007 Kak Ubit offered to return to work at the University of Muhammadiyah Aceh as Head of Computer Organization and serves as head of information systems and IT. In 2009 Kak Ubit start rebuilding permanent building as Children Learning Center for children and adolescents tsunami victims by using private funds. And because of limited funds kak Ubit forced to sell the cars to complete the construction of Building A size 8.5 x 12 m (2 floors) and additional space in the building B size 12 x 9 m (First floor). To better focus on completion of the program and Children Learning Center, Kak Ubit quit his job at the University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. And while continuing to foster interest in reading with a variety of competitions and outreach activities, kak Ubit also foster group dance studio and theater as well as tutoring for children. Now she lives complexed Children learning centers in the Banda Aceh - Calang Km. 22.5 Deah Village Mamplam Leupung subdistrict, Aceh Besar district of Aceh province.
