Before the tsunami in 2004, this foundation is housed in a building controller legacy of the Netherlands about 1 kilometer from the sea. After successfully reconstituted the foundation volunteers who survived and who recently joined, Kak Ubit first obtain the cooperation program with Save the Children, the mobile library program that uses his personal ESSPAS minibus, and then institute Kak Ubit much cooperation with other international NGOs. To better focus on completion of the program and Children Learning Center, Kak Ubit quit his job at the University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. And while continuing to foster interest in reading with a variety of competitions and outreach activities, kak Ubit also foster group dance studio and theater as well as tutoring for children.
